Guidelines

Holy Angels School will honor the equality of all peoples, avoiding all forms of discrimination and respecting the dignity of each person by providing service without regard to economic status, race, sex, national origin, gender, ethnicity, sexual orientation, age (in accordance with the law) or disabling condition (if, with reasonable accommodation on the part of the school, the disabled person could be accommodated).

Preference for acceptance is given in the following order:

• Holy Angels’ parishioners in good standing* who already have children enrolled in the school.
• Holy Angels’ parishioners in good standing* who are enrolling for the first time.
• Catholics from other parishes.
• Non-Catholics whose children come with a recommendation from their school principal.

*Parishioner in good standing - one who participates regularly in the liturgical life of Holy Angels Parish. One who is active in the parish (lector, religious education catechist, Eucharistic minister, member of a parish service committee) and one who contributes regularly to the weekly collection.

Pre- Kindergarten  (3 and 4 year old program)

Holy Angels offers preschool programs for both three and four year old children.  Please refer to the pre/k addendum section of the registration section.  Various days/times are available.

Kindergarten Application Process

Kindergarten applications for the 2012-13 school are currently being accepted. Your child must be five (5) by August 31, 2012 to enroll in the upcoming kindergarten class. Early admission (younger than age 5) will not be considered.

The following information is necessary to process your application:

• Completed application form (2012 - 2013 Application)
• A copy of your child’s birth certificate
• A copy of your child’s baptismal certificate
• Non-refundable application fee of $100.00 per application
• Letter of recommendation from your child’s pre-school

Grade 1-6 Application Process

Applications for grades 1-6 are being accepted. The following information is necessary to process your application:

Completed application form (2012-2013 Application Form)

• A copy of your child’s birth certificate
• A copy of your child’s baptismal certificate
• A copy of your child’s most recent report card
• A copy of your child’s latest standardized test scores
• A copy of your child’s educational testing results (if applicable)
• Non-refundable application fee of $100.00 per application

Grades 7-8 Application Process

Admission to seventh and eighth grade is handled on a case by case basis. Approval from the principal is required prior to submitting an application. Please call the school office to discuss admission guidelines for junior high.

Strategic Goal for Finances:
Holy Angels School has developed a process and procedure that will assure that 90-95% of the budgeted monthly tuition income is received in a timely manner so that Holy Angels School can maintain a financial budget that supports a viable, affordable, and solid education that is independent of parish subsidy.

ACTION PLAN-
Formation of Parish Finance Committee
Tuition Payment Plan to set up "Automatic Withdrawal" each month.
Policy that assures tuition payments are current at the end of each trimester.
Home and School Association has developed a required fundraising participation system offering buy-out of $125.00 or a $250.00 sell option.

Tuition Policy
Every Family must be current with tuition payment by the end of the following deadlines in order for your child(ren) to attend school:

July and August payments MUST be paid by August 30, 2012 or your child may not begin school on Sept. 2012.

September, October, November payments MUST be paid by November 30, 2012 in order for your child to continue attending December 1, 2012.

December, January, February payments MUST be paid by February 28, 2013 in order for you child to continue attending March 1, 2013.

All tuition must be paid by May 30, 2013 to secure placement for 2013-2014.

The tuition and fees below are for the 2012-2013 school year. A 1% discount, on tuition only, is available to any family willing to make the full tuition payment by July 15, 2012.

A $250.00 non-refundable registration fee is due by March 13th, 2012 for returning families and upon acceptance for new families.

A $100.00 technology fee is due by August 15th, 2012 for each family.

Situations happen that may prevent you from keeping this policy and if that is the case please call to set up an appointment with the principal to work out a plan.

Registration Information


Dear Parents,

This year we are providing you with online information packets for the upcoming 2012-13 school year. We ask that you download the forms, fill them out, and return to school by February 28th in registration envelopes that will be distributed to each family.

(Forms with an asterisk (*) must be returned by 2/28.)  Acceptance for next year is contingent upon fulfillment of all financial obligations for the 2011-2012 school year by May 15th, 2012. This includes tuition, church offertory for Holy Angels' parishioners, fees, and Before-Care and After-Care obligations.  If your child will not be returning to Holy Angels, please return the envelope with a letter stating such. Please note, all tuition and fees must be paid in FULL before transfer records are sent to the new school. It is our hope that this method of re-registration will streamline the process for both parents and the school. If you have any questions, please contact the school office for assistance. Also, if you cannot access this information online for some reason, please call the school office and paper copies will be sent home with your child(ren).

Established in 1956, Holy Angels
